Mr Arup Dasgupta, Barrackpore, West Bengal, talks about small miracles of film Grihalakshmi!

Mr Arup Dasgupta talks about the small miracles that happened before, during and after he successfully arranged to show the film Garihalakshmi- The Awakening to the audience of Shyam Nagar, Barrackpore, West Bengal.

Firstly he came to know of the film and got a keen desire to show it to fellow Sahaja Yogies and non-sahajees in his area. He had just seen a clip of the film in one of the Whatsapp groups and started to look for ways to show the film! While he was trying to find, he got a call from Mr. Sanjay Roshan Talwar himself! Then he had to select a movie hall to show the film – and he found one non AC hall in an area that is quite notorious and famous for constant unrest! But for the 2 days that the film was being screened in the hall – there was not a single disturbance or ruckus of any kind! And above all – in the non-AC hall, people hardly felt uncomfortable…for the cool vibrations were so strong, that the viewers forgot all about the heat of summer month June!

A heartfelt account of dedication shown in sharing the film "Grihalakshmi The Awakening" with family, friends and seekers of Truth. An overwhelming experience to watch how the Cinema going audiences were so spellbound with the impact the film had on them, where at the end of the film, each and every person received his Self Realization and joined mainstream Sahaja Yoga Meditation.

A tribute to HH Shree Mataji Nirmala Devi at the onset of the 50 Anniversary of Sahaja Yoga.

Grihalakshmi - The Awakening - now in English!

Cinema often becomes a reflection of our daily lives. It is much more than a source of entertainment, and the emergence of parallel cinema only proves the point further. For those who are unaware, parallel cinema deals with issues and depiction different from its mainstream counterpart. There is bare realism associated with these movies, often ditching the glamour of traditional Indian cinema.

How is Grihalakshmi – The Awakening a parallel cinema?

Well, this film is definitely not some ‘meaningless entertainment’ rather the most meaningful of all films! It not only talks about the emancipation of humans but also teaches them to get their ‘final liberation’ or Moksha or Nirvana – whatever you know it as! It may be the first time in the histroy of world cinema that viewers who paid for the film ticket also got an opportunity of a lifetime – get their self realization!!
